In the epic movie "300", the 300 Spartans (the equivalent of MSU) led by the great Leonidas (Tom Izzo) had to face these badass dudes named the Immortals (UNC) led by the evil Xerxes (Roy Williams).
Now off rip, the Immortals always...and I mean ALWAYS ran 10,000 deep (UNC is the top recruiting school in the nation)...Ten-Thousand...thats 9,700 more than Leo's crew...
The final fight scene between the two was vicious, the Spartans momentarily stood their ground...but the number game caught up to them (Ty Lawson, Tyler Hansbrough, Wayne Ellington, Danny Green), the Spartans could not keep up (The Carolina lead mushroomed to 10 after 4:04. To 15 after 7:03. To 20 after 9:38.)
Soon after a vigorous battle, only Leonidas was left standing...but he was showered with the 10,000 arrows of the Immortals...(Tar Heels throttled Michigan State 89-72, largest title-game victory margin in 17 years.)

Nicely done. Let it be known that even though one might be underestimated, and still left defeated, it's not who wins the battle, but who wins the war...and the flames are not gone from Izzo's fire.
